New in Easy to Inspect: bulk e-mail options for actions and separate administrator permissions
With the releases of 23 and 28 October 2026, you choose how actions assigned in bulk are e-mailed, and you can assign administrator permissions one by one.
Assigning nonconformities in bulk: you choose the e-mail
28 October 2026
Since our update of 7 October, we released two more versions of Easy to Inspect, on 23 and 28 October 2026. This message explains what has changed and what you may notice in your daily work.
When you assign several nonconformities at once, you now choose how the action request is sent:
- No e-mail. The actions are assigned without sending a message.
- One e-mail per action. Every action is sent in its own message.
- All actions in one e-mail, with a PDF per inspection. The assignee receives one message instead of a stack of messages. It states how many action requests there are, links to the Action Tracker and gives the (first) deadline; the action reports are attached. Up to 10 actions per e-mail.
- All actions in one e-mail, without PDF attachment. The same message without attachments, and without the limit of 10 actions.
The bundled e-mail does not list the individual actions: the assignee finds them in the Action Tracker. The options and the bundled e-mail are available in English, Dutch, German and French.
System administrator permissions can be assigned separately
The system administrator role consists of four permissions: organisation, subscription, user management, and roles and groups. You can now switch each of them on or off separately. For example, you can let a colleague manage users without giving them access to your subscription.
Existing system administrators keep all four permissions, so nothing changes until you adjust it yourself.
Clearer reports
- Action report. Photos are smaller and stay within the page margin, and photos with a finding are aligned to the left.
- Report header. The labels in the header block line up with the left edge of the header photos, and all values use the same font size.
- Answer colours. The coloured dot next to an answer is centred on the text line, in both the inspection report and the action report.
Passwords and new users
- Clear password messages. Wherever you enter a password (creating or editing a user, signing up, resetting or changing your password), you now see which password rule is not met, for example a password that is too short or a confirmation that does not match.
- Creating a new user. Error messages are shown again, so you can see which field still needs attention, and the Save button is enabled as soon as all required fields are filled in correctly. Editing an existing user still works without entering a password.
Smaller improvements
- E-mails in your language. E-mails sent by the application are now consistently available in English, Dutch, German and French.
